“I Am Ashamed Of Making That Statement”- Oluboi Commodore Cries Out

Accra Great Olympics Chief Executive Officer, Oluboi Commodore has with great affection apologize to Hearts Of Oak and the Ghana Football Association for his comment prior to the Mantse derby where he said the Phobians are leading the Ghana Premier League table because of referees.

The disciplinary committee of the GFA after that game fined him Gh2000 cedis and gave him a one-match ban for his comment which they feel brings the game into disrepute.

Speaking in his ban, the ace administrator said

“In my reply to the charge I apologized to the FA on the statement and it wasn’t against the referees but just to hype the game”, he said. “I am ashamed for making that statement and I have no intention to denigrate the referees. I accept the charge and apologize once more.”

“My target to sell all our tickets was achieved. I was just teasing Hearts of Oak. Maybe the way I said it didn’t go well”, he added.
